Aeyde Collectibles is a series of collectible objects, created in collaboration with artists who extend the world of Aeyde into the realms of art and design. For the second iteration, Berlin-based ceramicist Laura Welker has crafted a candleholder set inspired by the Helit caged pumps.

Belonging to the space where fashion and craft intersect, Welker’s inimitable candleholders challenge the hegemony of mass production, reminding us of the enduring value of objects that are both artful and utilitarian.

For the collaboration, Laura drew inspiration from the overlapping straps that define our Helit caged pumps, transposing this design element onto her signature shoe form. The result evokes the feminine allure of the high heel, balanced by the raw, unrefined nature of the clay and metallic-black glaze.
