For Pre Fall ‘23, we release the first chapter in a series of editorial commissions—entitled the ‘Anonymous Zine’. The project invites artists and photographers to interpret Aeyde’s Fall/Winter ‘23 Kollektion through the lens of anonymity, which served as the inspiration behind the collection. For the first installment, we’ve partnered with photographer Vitali Gelwich to examine anonymity as an act of defiance in the age of hyper exposure.

In Chapter 1: “Say Cheese!”, we observe an anonymous protagonist as they attempt to dodge the camera, whilst a series of obstructed shots remind the viewer of the photographer’s gaze.



The theme for the inaugural issue is a particularly poignant one, exploring the topic of anonymity in a time of photographic ubiquity. Realized and released in chapters, the zine includes collaborations with new and longstanding contributors of the brand. Chapter 2 is set to be released Sept 7, 2023.
