for Fall/Winter ‘25

This season, we are inspired by the enigmatic nature of the witch—an archetype shaped by knowledge, defiance, and suppressed power. For centuries, she has existed between binaries: outcast and oracle, healer and heretic—embodying society’s anxiety surrounding feminine strength. To reclaim her is to acknowledge those once punished for their difference, and to recast the witch not as a relic of superstition, but as a symbol of transformation.  

These ideas form the foundation of ‘Aeyde Hexe’—a season-long exploration into the cultural evolution and enduring figure of the witch. To expand on this narrative, we welcome Tish Weinstock as Aeyde’s Fall/Winter ‘25 guest editor. Known for her interest in the culturally offbeat, Weinstock will explore ‘Aeyde Hexe’ across a series of editorials to accompany each collection. Her first piece—The Prologue—sets the tone for chapters to come.
