Introducing Gemma Janes
Aeyde’s Fall/Winter 2026 Guest Editor

This season, we welcome writer and artist Gemma Janes as our guest editor. Across the Fall/Winter 2026 season, Janes will consider the objects and practices that move through generations as part of the seasonal concept “Aeyde Kontinuum.”

Through a series of interviews and editorials published in Aeyde Magazin Volume 04, Janes will look at disciplines shaped by human skill, exchange, and collaboration, tracing the rituals that endure in an age of acceleration. From practices shaped by hand to forms of collective experience, she will consider how tradition is not simply preserved, but carried forward through renewal. Her inaugural piece, The Prologue, sets the tone for the season to come.

About Gemma
Gemma Janes is a London and Paris-based writer, curator, and artist. Founder of Sendb00ks, a literary platform and publishing house established in 2018, Janes works across writing, bookmaking, collage, and publishing. Her collaborations include Yvon Lambert and Saint Anne Gallery in Paris, Left Bank Books in New York, and Casa Bosques in Mexico City. Her writing and publishing work have been featured in Apartamento, Interview and British Vogue.
